Forest Hills FHIMA Band Expo is scheduled for Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Brown Stadium on the campus of Anderson High School, 7560 Forest Road, Anderson Township (Cincinnati), Ohio.  Forest Hills host schools include  Anderson High School, Turpin High School, and Nagel Middle School.

The FHIMA Band Expo is an OMEA sanctioned event and will use the rules for judging set by the Ohio Music Education Association.  In addition to being eligilble for trophy and cash awards, bands receiving a "I" rating will qualify to compete in the OMEA State Finals Competition.  Band Expo is scheduled for the last weekend available for bands to qualify for State Competition.

Outstanding judges have been secured for this event to insure the most professional and enjoyable experience possible.

Awards include first, second and third place trophies in class AA, A, B and C based on the final numerical scores.  Trophies in each class also include Best Auxiliary and  Best Percussion.  Overall trophies will also be awarded for Best Music, Best marching/Visual, Best General Effect, Reserve Grand Champion and Grand Champion.

Please Note: Because the FHIMA Band Expo is a fundraising event for the Forest Hills Instrumental Music Association, no outside food is permitted at the event.
